My parents and I had been involved in a car accident when I was 6 months old, where my mother was thrown through the front windscreen and sustained several injuries. The course of treatment at the time was to plaster cast her body from her chest to waist for a prolonged period of time. It wasn’t until I was 4 years old and a family friend recommended my mother visit a Chiropractor, Donald Bennett, to see if he could help her. I saw my mother receive treatment and with time walk properly again. It was then I knew I wanted to become a Chiropractor.
Fast forward to the 90’s when I graduated from AECC as a Doctor of Chiropractic, a life long dream realised. I worked along side several Chiropractors before purchasing my first clinic, Redditch Chiropractic Clinic. 4 years later I then purchased Leamington Spa Chiropractic Clinic from my former mentor. I was now the proud owner of one of the oldest Chiropractic Clinics in the country at the time, however the dream didn’t stop there. My first clinic was growing fast, and I have slowly cultivated a fantastic team who support me whilst keeping patient care at the forefront of who we are and what we do.
In the very small amount of spare time I do have, you can generally find me running around 6km, sipping on a lovely Gin or spending quality time with friends and family.

I originally qualified in Medical Bio-Chemistry BSc and Phar MSc, before working in the Kings College Pharmacological Research Laboratories. However I felt my true calling lay else where.
Having heard so many stories about my mothers injuries sustained in their car accident, and how Chiropractic treatment helped her so much, I decided to follow in my sister’s footsteps and become a Chiropractor. She also seemed to be having so much fun and job satisfaction.
I qualified as a Doctor of Chiropractic in 2004, and started treating patients as an Associate for Liz. Even though I also manage my own practice down south in Hampshire, I still enjoy coming up to treat my patients in Redditch and joining in with the team atmosphere.
When I am not treating patients you can generally find me in the garden or spending time with my dogs – arthiritic beast George and hyperactive middle aged Lottie. I also love a good music festival too.

- SNHS Dip (Aroma Therapy)
My husband came to see Liz following constant lower back pains from long distance driving. I watched as he slowly recovered from the pain and decided to come see her for my own pain having suffered SPD with both of my children, which never fully went away.
Through conversations with her, sharing what work I did for a living and how caring for my two autistic children had taken it’s toll on me she offered me a job helping her with her social media.
I didn’t manage to get into the social media side very much as Liz had bigger idea’s for me and before we knew it she handed me a name badge with Practice Manager on there.
Having previously been a Development Manager for Psychotherapy Practice, my skills easily ported over to this new role, which still allows me the time to be a mother to special needs children and be part of a fantastic team. I have now been with Liz and the Team for a few years and can say this is one of the best places I have worked in. It is refreshing to be working somewhere that puts Patient care at the forefront, and I personally get a great deal of job satisfaction from this. It also helps to be surrounded by a fantastic Team too.
In my spare time you will usually find me with camera in hand photographing my children and our surroundings. I also love a good trip to the seaside too, which is handy as we have family we visit often in Devon.

- Dip Holistic Massage
I was looking for a part time receptionist job to work around my children, when I applied to work at Leamington Spa and Redditch Chiropractic. I was so happy when I got the position, and absolutely love working here as it feels like a family. Everyone is so friendly and easy to get along with.
I especially love talking to the Patients and getting to know them. Seeing their journey from pain to recovery feels like a real privilege.
Some of my hobbies include dancing, riding my bicycle and spending time with my beautiful children.
I have always had a passion for massage, and after being a CA here for almost 2 years I knew this was something I wanted to pursue. I am very grateful for Liz and Sophie pushing me to train to be a massage therapist, and now I am qualified, I am living my best life! I am looking to expand my skillset and looking into doing deep tissue, sports massage, trigger point therapy and baby massage.
After experiencing bad headaches and sinus problems for over 15 years, and having treatment myself by one of the massage therapists, I am excited about helping others in my situation.

I joined LSRC as a CA Receptionist in August 2019. Having worked in the insurance industry for the previous 28 years, it has been a welcome change for me. I’ve enjoyed getting to know each of our customers and seeing first-hand just how Chiropractic is making a difference in their day to day lives. We are a close-knit team whose aim is to provide you with a WOW experience and help you on your well-being journey.
Away from work, I love exploring new places as well as going to see live music. I’ve only recently moved to Redditch and have enjoyed getting to know the area, taking long walks with my dog that often involve coffee and cake. All recommendations gratefully received!

My names Megan Thornewell. I am a CA receptionist for Redditch and Leamington chiropractor clinic.
Having suffered for a long time and living so close to the clinic I wish I had popped in years ago! Liz is a chiropractic magician and Nina's massages remove the weight of the world from your shoulders. I can't thank you enough Liz, Nina and the rest of the team for fixing me. It's never a dull moment 😄 xx
Felt way better after just the first appointment! Definitely recommend to anyone
Have been attending the clinic for many years due to an injury when I was in my teens, the ladies in reception are very professional and friendly and my treatments always leave me feeling more comfortable- eventually!
Great service and availability. Sorted me neck out so I can now sleep in peace
Liz makes each visit a pleasant experience and is very good at finding and curing any problems I may have. She also helped my late wife with her severe pain when the hospital failed.
Simply the best, ( song there somewhere) ....Liz, from day one you worked wonders on my poor old engineers back and hips, oh, and knees.....enabling me to continue to realise my life’s dreams working on Steam engines and all that goes with them....... I’ve emigrated south now ....lol..... Isle of Wight , and stopped for a while, but may get back into the steam scene next year. Still feeling good, badminton keeps me mobile now. Liz, and team, thanks a million, I will pop in to see you all next year. Best Wishes John Blair. xxx
Great clinic. Very capable staff. Gave me excellent "at home" exercises and her in practice regimes always improves my back pain. This is an super way to go and get an improvement in your pain and movement.
